I am truly sorry to hear the sad news of Peter’s passing. I worked with Peter at LCC for many years. Peter was a kind good man with a great sense of humour. He used to tease me when we took lunch at LCC restaurant ( the good old days). When I would ask for extra custard on my pudding. I can still hear his laugh. Sincere condolences to Peter’s family. RIP dear friend and colleague.

I will remember Peter as impeccably dressed, well spoken and gentle- someone who always supported me when I joined the council. We used to have "Peter's Corner", a space where we could confess anything, knowing there would be no judgment- just someone who truly listened and offered thoughtful advice.

To me, he was a father figure, It was a shame that we lost touch after COVID, but through another work colleague, I continued to receive news about his health.

Rest in peace, Peter. I am grateful that you were part of my growing up. Thank you.

Nimisha (Twinkle) from LCC.

I'm so sorry to hear the news of Peter's passing. He was a great character to work with. He had a sharp, cheeky sense of humour. He'll be missed by many. My condolences to family and friends he has left behind.
